I am trying to implement the latest version of the MMPPF player in a WP7 app and I am receiving a AG_E_NETWORK_ERROR message. The phone is not connected to the machine and I have verified the video plays on the phone using the media launcher task. The exception does not give me any additional information.

here is my code and xaml:

var videoUrl = NavigationContext.QueryString["videoUrl"];

var playListItem = new PlaylistItem();
if(videoUrl.EndsWith("/Manifest", StringComparison.InvariantCultureIgnoreCase))
{
 playListItem.DeliveryMethod = DeliveryMethods.AdaptiveStreaming;
}
else
{
 playListItem.DeliveryMethod = DeliveryMethods.ProgressiveDownload;
}
playListItem.MediaSource = new Uri(videoUrl);
videoPlayer.Playlist.Add(playListItem);
videoPlayer.CurrentPlaylistItem  = playListItem;

=======================

<Core:SMFPlayer x:Name="videoPlayer" VolumeLevel="1">
</Core:SMFPlayer>

OK- fixed it - was missing a device capability in the manifest

<Capability Name="ID_CAP_MEDIALIB"

/>
