Smooth Streaming Assets with Dolby Digital Plus Audio - Unable to Playback

We have an issue with a custom Silverlight player that we’ve built on the MMPPF framework.

Several assets are unable to playback on our custom player as well as using Microsoft PlayReady (TM) Test Server (http://playready.directtaps.net/pr/doc/slee/). The Silverlight player crashes for both Non-DRM and DRM version of the asset. We are unable to retrieve any meaningful stack trace as the player just crashes.

The only discernible differences between this and other playable assets is that this is HD and significantly longer (movies that are 120 mins long vs 30 mins episodes).

However, the asset is playable on native video player on the Xbox 360 (similar player). I have a smooth streaming manifest ready that I can send across offline.

[Update] We may have found the root cause is that the crashing asset uses Dolby Digital Plus (EC-3) audio encoding whereas all other assets are sterio (AACL).

My current question is: Does the current MMPPF player support DD+/EC-3 audio encoding?
