I am making a player where i play live content.
I want to hide the SeekToLive button on the player.

I created  the player in code behind and inserted it into the base grid.

SMFPlayer player = new SMFPlayer();

ButtonBase btnSeek = (ButtonBase)player.FindName("SeekToLiveElement");

Now btnSeek is showing to be null.

I tout that i could use the visibility property to hide it .

How do i get the reference to it ?

You could style it in a custom way where you remove the seektolive button.

A way to get references to the buttons and such is to extend the player, and then use GetTemplateChild in the extended class. You could then expose that somehow.
