don't the backward and forward buttons of the default player work? what rates do those use?

Thanks to reply ClipFlair.

The backward and forward buttons of the default player (SMF Player) are working fine.

But we need to set speed manually like 70% or 30% or 50% of normal speed.

Currently SSME supports these type of playbackrate:  - 8.0, -4.0, 0.25 or 0.5, 1.0, 4.0, 8.0

By default, Player uses 1.0 to display video at normal speed, So how can be set player speed 5.0 (5x) if need ?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried downloading the source and looking for what the buttons actually call in the code? That would probably be the easiest way to figure out how to do that.

Should everything else fail, you can always set it directly on the SSME using ActiveAdaptiveMediaPlugin.VisualElement (which is the SSME).

Thanks lokexstream,

We have downloaded the source code and after doing some modification in our code we can set only supported playback rate (- 8.0, -4.0, 0.25 or 0.5, 1.0, 4.0, 8.0). Still we are unable to set like 5.0 as we need.

Any suggestion would be appreciate.
