I am working with Silverlight Media Framework with smooth streaming. I want to disable control strip of media player at the bottom of the screen. I set it to IsControlStripVisible = false. But it appears on
double click on the media player.
I want to disable it permanently.
 Plz help me out?????

You could create a template where it is always hidden or even completely removed. In Expression Blend this is very simple. Right click the SMF player in the Objects browser, select Edit Template -> Edit a copy. Create a copy with the name you chose (i usually place it in the Application, but thats completely up to you, the defaults will work). This should now give you access to edit de skinning of the player. You can now for instance set visibility to collaped on the ControllerContainer or remove it completely if you are never going to need it.

atulwindowsphone, I am unable to repro this by setting IsControlStripVisible = false and double clicking on the player. Double click does open the player in fullscreen but I don't see the control strip.

fyi: there is a property you can set to turn off double-click:

<smf:SMFPlayer AllowDoubleClickToggle="False">
