I've got such problem (look in title). I've upgraded SL to version 5.0 and every time when my persisted license expire such error is thrown.

There is a guy who wrote a post how to fix this issue, but it doesn't work! Link to blog post: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/playready4/archive/2011/12/08/playready-license-acquisition-fails-after-upgrading-to-silverlight-5.aspx

I've done like he says. When there is 6028 error code I catch it, create new instance of licence acquirer, successfully acquire new licence (non persisted), but my player couldn't handle it. It goes to unexpected state I mean when I catch this error in media failed event player has "opening" state and stays in this state even if I successfully download new licence. I could not force him to get out of this state. I've tried clearing playlist items, reloading smooth streaming  plugin, stopping, playing again. Nothing works! I've even reproduced this state in new verion of this framework (2.6.1).

Has anyone had such issue and successfully managed to workaround?

Some logs from player:

I'm worried about last line - "SmoothStreamingMediaElementLogReady" Message: "Media Element Generated Log - Reason: MediaElementShutdown". Do you thing that this might have something in common with this strange player state?
