Why is v2.6 called 2.2 in the dlls and zip archives?

Well the title says it all, but allow me to elaborate a little. When I download what is linked to the "Download" button right on the front page where the announcement of version 2.6 is the top story, why do I end up with an archive called "microsoft-smf-bin-2.2011.1101.0.zip"?

I have also downloaded the source and that is building dll's with version 2.2011.xxx inside them.

If someone would care to explain this for me or point me to where it is explained, then that would be great.

tchristensen, sorry for the confusion. 2.2011.1101.0 == version 2.6, the version naming convention is based on the date built.

You're not the first to ask this however so I'll be sure to look into improving this in the future.

Thanks for the feedback,
