SMF, WP7.1 and Microsoft.Expression.Interactions

Dear all,

we recently started using WP7 SDK 7.1 and SMF v2.5 to create an application capable of playing Smoothstreaming content.

However, as soon as we added the references for Microsoft.Expression.Interactions, we couldn't play any content anymore. When reverting to the v7.0 dlls, the SMFPlayer works fine, but we need the triggers functionality provided by the v7.1 dlls.

Will there be any update on the SMF soon? Is this something to be fixed on the WP7 SDK?

Regards,

SD

I confirm this behavior.

SMF v2.5 stops working when the reference to Microsoft.Expression.Interactions is added (7.1 version).

Similar thing happens when the reference to Microsoft.Phone.Controls.Toolkit.dll is added.

In this case, the content is only played once after the application is installed. Following attempts fire the "media_opened" event but nothing happens after that. The application must be deployed again on the phone (or the emulator restarted) in order for the content to be played again.
