Hi all,

I have been looking around this forum to see if anyone has done some animations for captions but i did not find anything like that. Does anyone know how to work with animations property in the caption region for the Media Player?

or perhaps may send me a link where to follow a sample.

Thanks in advance

I don't think you can animate them out-of-the-box. The captions area has a default style which can be overwritten by style properties in the captions stream. The CaptionBlockRegion.xaml.cs (see the sources of the Player Framework) contains the code to update the text in the caption region by just placing the text. If you want to do something with animations you might be able to change that source, but than you're branching of the standard version provided by the framework.

On the other hand ... animations in captions are probably not a real good UX for end users. Maybe you need something else like a ticker control on top of the player control?
