Integrating Silverlight Player in a business application

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the Media Player Framework for Silverlight.

I created a business application and the page Home.xaml I entered the base of the SMF player, here's the code:

    mc:Ignorable="d" xmlns:smf=""

    xmlns:media="clr-namespace:Microsoft.SilverlightMediaFramework.Core.Media;assembly=Microsoft.SilverlightMediaFramework.Core" Height="480" Width="640">

    <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="White" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch">

                    <smfm:PlaylistItem DeliveryMethod="AdaptiveStreaming" MediaSource="" />

Just launch the application displays the player, but the video does not load.

Where is the problem?

sdalex, do you have the Microsoft.SilverlightMediaFramework.Plugins.SmoothStreaming and Microsoft.Web.Media.SmoothStreming libraries referenced.

Yes, the libraries are there.
The player does not work only in the business application.

I created a navigation application with the same code as previous post.

I return an exception:

Could not load type 'Microsoft.Web.Media.SmoothStreaming.ChunkResult' from assembly 'Microsoft.Web.Media.SmoothStreaming, Version = 3.0.711.8, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = 31bf3856ad364e35'.

Do you have a solution?

It's difficult to say, sounds like there's a problem with the Microsoft.Web.Media.SmoothStreaming library.  Can you zip up a small application that reproduces this error and post it somewhere I can download it?  Post the link here and I'll take a look.
